The app keeps duplicating contacts in both the app itself and in the iPhone contacts. The duplications continue 6-8 times! No customer service to assist with this problem!

So far, so good…

This App is perfect at scanning BC but also does so much more. The syncing between my iPad and iPhone is perfect. So simple to get my contacts in my device Contacts App. Tried similar Apps and they were either completely overpriced or not very accurate. Highly recommended.

Stopped working after latest update.

Contact Snapper is pretty good at photographing business cards and getting many of the fields right. The problem is the export - with excel, it exports phone numbers into stacked cells in one merged-cell row for each contact, which means the fields don't match up with import tools. Forget importing to Salesforce, for example, it skips addresses, and Outlook won't take a multi-contact .vcf file for some reason. So if you use Contact Snapper as your contact app, you're in good shape, but if you use Outlook or Salesforce, this doesn't work.

I looked at a lot of card scanner apps and this one does everything the others do without locking you in to expensive annual payment plans. The scanning function works great and I like that I can export the contacts, group them, see their location on a map, and so much more that’s packed into this app. I was recently having issues with the app and I emailed support about it and they got right on it and fixed the problem. I was not expecting that. Service was great. They fixed the issue but they also followed up with me multiple times throughout that process to update me on the status. Great app, great developers. I highly recommend this app.

Sometimes totally fails to capture email addresses. Puts email addresses and website URLs in fields generically named "Work".

Great app. Great price. Fantastic OCR. Constantly crashes.

I downloaded Contact Snapper a few weeks ago and spent time entering several cards for business contacts. Now I have opened it. the app again and my contacts are gone. What happened?

9/10 crashes any time you try to edit information or address

This is my first Business Card scanning app, and so far it works as advertised: simple, effective, easy to use. I was drawn to the Contact Snapper because it doesn’t require a subscription and it seamlessly integrates with my devices address book. What’s not to like?

I’ve downloaded the top level app and asked the question of contact but I have not yet received a response. Other than that I love the app

This app is good, that’s because I decided to buy it almost 3 months ago, but after having the full version, I found out that this app doesn’t show the imagen of the side 2 of the business cards, which is too bad since you need the both sides information. I wrote to the support team and they said to me that they will fix this issue up in the next update and I’m still waiting for that wonderful day since then...

I have several issues with this hence the low rating.... #1. I have this app on a 9” tablet and I can just about read the text because it is so small. Way too small for a phone, even the newer big ones. #2 It has no idea that people often have designations after their names and it gets confused by not being aware that “PhD” is a professor or “LLD” is a lawyer or “LC, IALD , LEED,, AP” is an architect. #3 No place for the Ext after main phone number #4 cannot edit the email address without pressing edit...but you can edit the phone number....prior to saving. It should not be considered a hyperlink until saved! #5 It cannot read a dark card with white lettering #6 it cannot save capitalized initials in the name of a company so IBM becomes Ibm or SAG becomes Sag #7 does not learn anything....like the previous entry when you get 12 cards at a presentation. #8 It does not capitalize the name of a city in the address section.... #9 does not put a comma after the city #10 in the phone number section the categories should be MAIN, DIRECT, MOBILE....not Home #11 I will repeat that it is WAY TOO SMALL A FONT.....I have it on the largest setting and it is near impossible to read #12

I purchased the text only option and I cannot save any card information. Every time I try to save I get a message asking if I want to upgrade to text and photos. I choose no thanks and try to save again only to get the same message. Am I being force to spend more to use the app I already purchased? And for more money than if I had gone with the more expensive option initially? This is not right.

Great app if you want to keep all of your business contacts separate. Only thing I would like to see is if someone calls from a business it puts up who they are.

Been using Contact Snapper for a few months now and I’ve got to say I’m VERY impressed. Get the pro version if you’re using it for business purposes, the export to excel feature is awesome!!

Awesome and efficient! Has only missed something on three cards out of the 150!

Don’t waist money on this. You’ll be paying to have to make too many manual corrections. When is was no charge I didn’t mind but when I’m paying I expect better quality.

I bought this application & recommend it to others. It need to update. It is slightly slow. It is better to change background color for better visualization. Also it stop & disappear suddenly.!! When I add a new contact data to my contacts in mobile address book, it can't transfer or synce to contact snapper simply.

Fantastic App ... plug and play

This app does a great job of capturing business cards. Everything seems to be done locally in the phone. There is no cloud account set up nonsense like other apps. It scans cards to its local directory and also seamlessly exports to your phone contacts. That is exactly what I wanted. It can also sync with google directly, but since that is the default sync for my contacts that already works. Scanning is quick, and surprisingly accurate, even in less than ideal light. It is easy to correct any errors. In fact it will highlight in red OCR information it isn’t sure it got right. It was well worth the $5.99 for an app that works well and does what it says. There are no recurring fees like other apps, nor any ads. They just charge a fair price for a great app. They do have a free trial of 3 cards. That was enough for me to see it worked. That really is very limited, they should really have more like 10-50 cards, or a few days. Like I said though, it was enough for me to see it worked. Hey, the most you’ve got to lose is 6 bucks!

...... out of 10 cards I snapped, none were sucked in without needing some edit. The editing process is cumbersome. It would be quicker to type in the info from scratch.

Best way I know to get business cards into my contacts

I have been using Contact Snap for several years. I used to take clients card in front of them and put it into contact snapper and give it back to them. They were I pressed. However I now keep their card, not as a backup, but just not to be rude. Love this app.

Helpful App for adding contacts but user interface is not very clean therefore I only use it for when adding a new contract. The paste text feature is really awesome

This is only slightly faster than entering by hand.

Pretty good, although still needs work on getting names, titles, and company names. Does save time though

If cards are conventionally laid out, with dark text on light background, it works well. With moderately creative layouts and colors, it has problems. The trial limit of three contacts is woefully inadequate to encounter the scanning failures with typical cards.

The OCR is not perfect but does a pretty good job. Many business cards use glitzy graphics that can really confuse the OCR capabilities. Overall it does a fairly well. You will always need to proof read any scanned cards since it is not perfect. It's definitely a timesaver especially for simple cards without any complex graphics.

THIS APP HAS EVERYTHING YOU COULD EVER WANT!! I literally tried every single business card app in the iPhone store and deleted every single one! This app is packed with everything...and it's accurate! Thank you! Amazing design job!

I’ve tried other apps like card snap but none have worked as well on so many styles of cards

There will still be editing because of the artistic qualities that many business cards have. Overall this app does a great job! I no longer have several stacks of business cards.

I use it whenever I receive a business card. Does a very good job, not much editing needed. Ignores most goofy graphic distractions.

A big time saver.

I bought the text only version so I could save the data from business cards. After I scanned the card and tried to save the data – it wouldn’t let me without upgrading AGAIN because it included a photo. I don’t want to save the photo.

While there is a learning curve, this app has the greatest functionality of any business card app out there. The only app that I could find that syncs perfectly with my groups in my contacts app. I highly recommend, just be patient learning how to fully use it. I upgraded and well worth it.

Like that you can copy and paste from email signatures and pics of business cards. Only drawback is u have to check fields to make sure info is in right slot. Great time saver!

I've taken good photos of business cards but all that comes up into contacts is rows of gibberish. This app is not quite ready for prime time

Use nearly every day and it is a time saver and convenient having everything in my phone. Great application!!

Very clunky interface. Navigation is not intuitive. Routine tasks are not obvious. UX is in need of overhaul. Asks you to rate it nearly every time you use it, so I'm rating it with anger...

I have been using this app for years and this seems to be the best version. It works really good. Also even though I haven't had to use their customer service in a while, when I did it they did a great job.

Buyer beware and read the fine print! I'm not sure if it was even in the FinePrint that I purchased the $2.99 version, then try to scan a business card to save the contact info and I had a pay an additional $3.99 just to have that option

I like the easy function of adding business cards to my contacts. It's not perfect but is easy enough.
